When you create an account on SportsAcademy, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and role (instructor, parent, or student). If you manage an academy, we also collect your academy name, address, and branding details such as logos and cover images.

We collect payment-related information when you subscribe to our plans or process fee payments through Razorpay. We do not store your card details directly; these are handled by our payment partner.

To create and manage your account on our platform
To connect parents with their children's student profiles
To process subscription payments and generate invoices
To send attendance updates, announcements, and schedule notifications
To issue digital certificates for student achievements
To improve our platform and provide customer support

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on cloud servers. We use encryption for sensitive data like passwords (bcrypt hashing) and enforce HTTPS for all data transfers. Images and files are stored on Cloudinary with secure access controls.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform:

Neon for database hosting

5. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Academy owners can export their student and payment data from the platform. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days.

Student accounts for minors are created and managed by their academy instructors or parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent through the parent portal.
